A bright and cheerful coloured handmade patchwork cot bed quilt. The colours used include hot pink, lime green, sunshine yellow, orange zest, turquoise and purple. This quilt has been lovingly hand made in North Wales to order.
This unique patchwork quilt’s grid is in hot pink swirly fabric, with a lime green border and reverse. Within each grid is a white square containing either a letter from the alphabet or a number from 1-9 inclusive. Each letter or digit has been cut from a selection of carefully selected fabrics. The fabrics used include vibrant flowers, fun cat designs, pretty vintage florals, spots and dots, a bright butterfly pattern and various coloured candy stripes. All are cotton.
Quilt dimensions: 36" x 50" (approximately 92 x 127cm)
The quilt has been thoughtfully designed and lovingly handmade. The appliquéd letters and numbers are all hand quilted around the edges, as is the grid's inside edge, thus showing the design on the lime green cotton fabric to the reverse of the quilt. The quilt contains polyester wadding. We would recommend that the quilt is washed by hand and dried flat, to preserve its presence and beauty.
This would make a perfect keepsake/heirloom, lovely as a wall hanging in a child's room. Alternatively a beautiful new baby, Christening or birthday gift.
All our quilts are individually made and even quilts of the same design will include differing fabric combinations making each one unique and extra special. We are happy to embroider a short personalised note to the reverse of the quilt, maybe including who the quilt is for, who it is from and a date. It’s your quilt, your message, your choice.
