Red and white heart design handmade patchwork quilt for child’s cot bed, lovingly made in North Wales to order.
This unique patchwork quilt has a red and white gingham grid, white squares within it, each containing a pretty love heart. Fabrics used include ginghams, candy stripe, red with dainty white leaves, white with red & light blue floral design, red cherry design on white and light blue stripe, red with spotty white dots, red and white check with navy grid lines. All are cotton.
The quilt has been thoughtfully designed and lovingly handmade. The appliquéd hearts are hand quilted around the edges, as is the grid's inside edge, thus showing the design on the red and white gingham to the reverse of the quilt. The quilt contains polyester wadding. We would recommend that the quilt is washed by hand and dried flat, to preserve its presence and beauty.
Quilt dimensions: 54" x 39.5" (approximately 138 x 101cm)
This would make a perfect keepsake/heirloom, lovely as a wall hanging in a child's room. Alternatively a beautiful new baby, Christening or birthday gift.
