About Eden Liberty personalised gifts and fabric designs
We are a Mum (Jane) and daughter (Lucy) team working together from our base in North Wales. Our adventure started after our love of fabrics and sewing grew into commissions for friends and family. The positive feedback and encouragement lead us to market our wares to a wider market with encouraging success.
Fabrics
We both enjoy selecting fabrics to suit the feel of each individual piece to create its chosen expression. The search of appropriate fabric designs is an ongoing challenge and adventure!
Experience
Jane has vast sewing experience, in particular designing, planning and creating handmade patchwork quilts. Her love of quilting stems back to her pregnancy with Lucy. She made a bedspread during her pregnancy that has been used in her home ever since. The designs and stitching techniques that she has learnt, experimented with and developed over the years are ever increasing. She is always on the look out for new ideas, devising more beautiful creations.
Personal and individual gifts
Lucy’s love of home products and bespoke items, along with a sewing hobby lead to the creation of products within the Eden Liberty range such as the Birthday and Personalised Bunting. The seeds for these creations were also sown during pregnancy! When she was carrying her daughter, Sienna, she could not find the products that she wanted for the nursery.
She wanted to create a bedroom with an atmosphere that was feminine, yet fun and bright. So between them Jane and Lucy found suitable coordinating fabrics and made cot bumpers, upholstery covers for a Lloyd Loom nursing chair and blanket box, black-out curtains and a covered box valance, zesty coloured bunting runs for the walls and an alphabet and numbers patchwork quilt as a precious wall hanging. An heirloom fit for a princess.
Lucy’s failure to find soft furnishings that are ideal for a child’s room but not too juvenile lead to some of Eden Liberty’s creations and many of the fabric selections.
Our personalised and bespoke product offering means that products can be designed and handmade based on the colour scheme and theme with a favourite Prince or Princess in mind. We love to create items that have a special someone in mind. Our birthday and Christmas products can be used every year, creating childhood associations and memories. Special bonds for always.
